Sorry missum and mun if i offended you by my comments. I have not been to Sandals in Antigua, but am only repreating opinions of people who have stayed there.

I Have been to Sandals in Jamiaca, and for fear of offending anyone else, I must say it was was very loud, and not to my taste.

Nuff said!!

Sandals caters to the masses and mostly to the budget all inclusive traveler. I have stayed there twice as a travel agent guest and my nephew worked there. Galley Bay is more high end. In my opinion it's for the discerning customer. A more private intimate feel. In have been a guest here as well and swam at this beach for many years. It's sublime.

I am not sure about the 'budget' traveller. We looked into a few different resorts when choosing(Blue Waters, Galley Bay, Sandals, Carlisle Bay and Jumby Bay). It was actually a couple different travel agents and some friends that had gone that made us consider Sandals more, and in the end chose. It actually cost us more to stay at Sandals than the other resorts, the only exception was Jumby Bay, which was more than Sandals. Perhaps if we had chosen a lower category room, it may be been similar pricing. I would not consider this trip a 'budget' trip though. I do think that Galley Bay looks like a beautiful resort though. I also agree with you that Sandals is a resort that caters more to the masses.

Do not go to Sandals. It is in need of major refurbishment. A waste of money
