I'm sorry you had such a horrible experience. I went to Nuevo Progreso Mexico and had a horrible 1st experience too BUT I ran into a really nice guy who directed me to another dentist who is worth his weight in gold. His name is Dr.Dan Verastegui....he's not from Mexico, he's from Spain and he's really reasonable and he's also a perfectionist. He samed my smile...it looks perfect now.

The best dentist in Nuevo Progresso is Dr.Daniel Verastegui...AKA: Dr. Dan. I went to a dentist who totally screwed up my mouth and Dr.Dan gave me a movie star smile. I was so scared to go to another denist after Rio Dental Office butchered me. I give you my WORD....if your looking for a great dentist at reasonable rates and speedy service then go to him....I had 14k worth of work done and it cost me 3k there. If you have friends give them his name. Dr. Dan isn't from Mexico he's from Spain and speaks good English. He's personable and he's a perfectionist. Now a days a mans WORD doesn't mean much but its everything to me.....If you have any questions at all you can reach me at MikeHarris253@aol.com.

Hi, Hermit8547..Yes,My Mexican dentist informed me when she was removing the old metal fillings that there was no such thing as a permanent filling.Even the white composite material needs replaced over time, but I would say its more like 8-10 years.I have been to quite a few American dentists over the years and have had some good, and some bad work done.I fully trust the dentist I go to now,and would not ever think of going to anyone else.Tim Singer
