Recently I saw an article in a Birmingham newspaper that birds we dropping dead from the sky. Has anyone seen this happen recently???

I recon if a bird was feeling a bit rough the last thing it would do is fly 60 meters into the air although recently I lost my budgie when it flu under a bus!

I have seen it happen during the grouse shooting season, but not recently.
