Looking to spend 4 nights in Byron Bay during January '06 - am interested in the Lord Byron Resort - has anyone any reviews on this resort - Many thanks!

Have not stayed there but please note it is quite a walk to the beaches ( and it can be hot in Byron in Jan)

You might want to consider places closer to the beach (and the beach hotel!)

Yes, I am stayed in Lord Howe's premier luxury resort with my girlfriend. It is about two hours flight from Sydney. In that place you will have all the privacy that you need. You can enjoy the sumptuous dinner after a breakfast and light lunch.
