our first trip to india staying at the uday samudra (hope thats spelt right as i have lost the brochure) and want to know if its an ok hotel and if anybody else is there at the same time for tips ect.

Since you are travelling in April, it may be worthwhile checking out the Leela Kovalam as the prices will be low and it is well located.

We're staying at the Uday Samudra in March. I've heard quite a few good things about the hotel and their service is supposed to be fantastic there. I'm sure you'll have a fabulous time there - don't worry, we'll post a review on our return too!
