My husband and I are going to Salvador for 15th Feb to 23rd. Until a day ago we didn't know whether we would get to Brazil as my husband was unfit to travel, but has now been gicen the all clear.

We are 4 families who are going to the Iberostar Bahia in July/August. We all like good wines but the reviews we are reading say they are all rubbish. Can you buy good wines or reasonable ones from a wine list.

Specifically my husband and I have to be in Floripa for an event on Jan 9, 2007. Yes, we have very little time to make this happen if at all. Any advise on which airline, route/connection, duration would be great...and if there are any tips on fly/drive alternatives that would be great as well.
