I'm off to the Faroes in July, and was hoping to hire a car for the week. Can anyone advise me where it is cheapest to do this?

What are your interests? What would you hope to achieve by a visit?



The two cities are very different in size and style. The two countries are very different as well.



You may find it harder to get to Trshavn than to Reykjavik from Edinburgh, although the latter is a lot further.

Will be visiting Torshavn as part of a cruise (I work on the ship) and unfortunately will only be in town one day. I would like to see some of the town/countryside as well as a ferry ride and was wondering if anyone has some information on local tours in the area.
