Has anyne any experience of booking this company for tours please?

Well.. i was about to book accomodation for our trip to Vilnius next March but thought I would just check flight times online... low and behold Star 1 has filed for bankruptcy!

This happened in October - cant believe no one in Lithuania put anything on this forum?

Now the hard slog to try and get our money back!

Does anybody know, are there any buses from Kaunas to Kybartai, at the time between morning and day trains (9.45-15.15)?

i'm planing a stag parties for next july. i want ti go to europe.



i would like someplace that is lively and we can party in to the nite.



are the any good website for ideas or good packages.

up until last weekend - my party of 4 were visiting Vilnius for 5 nights.in march.... then last weekend I discovered that Star1 had gone bust leaving us without a direct flight to vilnius from my area of the uk... still waiting for pay back from credit card company but in the meantime I am now thinking of visiting Kaunas instead.. and maybe take the train for one day to Vilnius...

Am considering going to Vilnius but on a limited budget, since I have other plans for travel as well next year ... I know a lot of East-European cities such as Prague, Krakow and Lviv - but was wondering what the price level in Vilnius is - as regards modest eating places of the cheap sort ? Also, what is the price level in supermarkets ? Is it comparable to, say, Czechia or Poland, or ...

We are visiting Kaunas in September and would like to know if the cinema buildings owned by my Grandfather, until 1940, still exist?.

The cinemas were The Metropolitan and The Forum and were both in Laisvs Alja.

Just booked a 3 night trip to Lithuania,1 night in Kaunas and 2 in Vlinius, never been to Lithuania before so am very excited.
