Hello,

We are planning shortly a weekend in Luxembourg city and would like to do a pique nique for lunchtime. Does anybody know places or parks in the city (or Kirchberg for example) where there are pique nique tables? (in any case the places should be reachable by car).

Flying into Frankfurt Hahn for onward travel to Luxembourg.

Firstly, does anyone know where the bus stop is in Hahn airport to catch the bus to Luxembourg? Is it clearly sign posted? Some directions would be great!

Can I pay on the bus or do I have to book my ticket online? If I pay online and I am earlier, can I get an earlier bus? What happens if I am delayed and I miss ...

Make your way to the Centre Ville and go to the TO at the Place Guillaume or at the train station to get a walking map. Buses leave from outside the train station with frequent connections, return is to Centre Gare. Get a day ticket for all public transportation to anywhere in the country for 4 .

We are embarking on an AMA waterway cruise from Remich,. We are arriving in Luxembourg the day prior to embarkation.What is the best way to get to Remich from Luxembourg, and is it easy to find taxis to take us to the ship if we are using public transit?

Have tried searching the internet for particulars but details are sparse.

I just want to add that in all of the few things we did and saw in Vianden that Cafe Du Pont was a highlight. The food was good, the staff was actually *gasp!* friendly, and overall it was a nice evening in a town which we didn't find charming or pleasant due to the people in the least. I would almost drive through Vianden again just for Cafe Du Pont. Delicious schnitzel and frittes!!! ...

Hi, I'm going to Luxembourg in late January 2011, and I'd like to know how is the quickest way (via bus) from the train station to the hotel and restaurant Il Piccolo Mondo. I've heard about a bus stop near the hotel, but I couldn't find further information. Thanks.

Are there facilities to leave a suitcase at the main Luxembourg station. This would be for a few hours around lunchtime on a Monday.

I plan to visit both in one day, but which would be better as a base to spend the night?
