Hi all,

I'm going to Malta during 6th june to 16th and staying at Topaz hotel,

I'm looking for a really nice hotel to stay in for just 1 night. Any idea's???

Preferably with good views etc... perhaps with an excellent restaraunt, save us going somewhere else for that day!

Thanks in advance

Can't actually write a review yet, as we arn't booked to go until the end of July. I am getting really worried about this holiday, reading all these awful reports. I just hope that things improve before we get there, and that the hotel management reads this and sorts their staff out. PLEASE !

 Post subject: Valleta Cruise Port
PostPosted: Sun Jan 02, 2011 6:43 pm
Hello,

We are crusing on the Gem from the Norwegian Cruise line and will be docking in Valleta in late May. We like to explore on our own and would rather not book organized tours. I would appreciate any advice on transportation from the ship to town. Is it walkable? Any suggestions on what is a "must see" and how we get around town.

Thanks

Hi, could someone save me loads of trouble and recommend where to stay for an extended family holiday to Malta, this May.

We've never been so were thinking of staying in St. Julians, is this a good idea?

We are a mother, father, baby. Young granny, young aunt and uncle. So we need somewhere that is fairly family friendly but not over totally child focused. Somewhere with an indoor or heated outdoor pool would be ...

Can anyone advise me is it better to get my sterling changed to Euros before I leave England? Or am I better exchanging my money into Euros when I arrive in Malta? Would I get a better exchange rate if I changed it in Malta?

Thanks!

You won't need to get a taxi

I can't remember where the Relax is off the top of my head but you can walk from 1 side of Bugibba to the other in less than 15minutes if you are dragging kids with you. It would probably take longer to get to the taxi stand!!
