News of Moldova

Hi i came to Moldova last year and i found expensive mobile phones are welcome here bkoz of the people's concern on their image, and then i bought IPhone and i think it's ok to adapt to the atmosphere, but last month one friend brought also an IPhone from aisa to me bkoz he ever heard i chatted about the situation in Chisinau, and i don't need another one any more, and please tell me ...

...you can go to:

- several commercial centers (Sun City (center of the city), Elat (Botanica district), Grand Hall (railway station region), biggest center - Jumbo (Botanica district). Every center have a supermarket at the first floor;

- two malls but I'll name only the most popular, with reasonable prices and "alive" - Shopping Malldova (located on the viaduct between Botanica and Center districts);

- one clothes market (locals call it "tolciOk", Rascani district) and ...

Awful road, never think about... we were traveling from Galati, Romania to Stefan-Voda,Moldova, and wanted to go on a quicker road wich is Galati-Oancea-Leova-Cimislia-Causeni-Stefan-Voda, the segment between Leova and Cimislia is the worst, maximum 30 Km/h on a stone road.

So my advice is to go throw Chisinau, to take Leova-Chisinau and then to Anenii-Noi, Causeni and Stefan-Voda.

Or to enter Moldova throw Leuseni to Chisinau, this is the best way, easy driving and a ...

I suggest you to try Robin Pub (83, Alexandru cel Bun street), it's right in the center of the city, below the cathedral. It is a British style pub/restaurant with a great Caesar salad.



If you like to drink a lot of beer you certainly and logically should go to German style "Bier platz" (55, Mihai Eminescu street)
