Post subject: Transport to and from Colca Lodge
PostPosted: Wed Dec 23, 2009 11:14 am
We are staying two days at the Colca Lodge and I am finding it difficult to get info regarding transport to the Lodge from Arequipa and then back to the airport from Colca Lodge. We are staying at Casa Arequipa prior to our trip to Colca, and they quoted me $200 for a driver for our time in Colca ($350 with guide), but we really don't need much more than transport to and from. Does anyone know where I can find them?

 Post subject: EcoAmazonia Lodge Manu?
PostPosted: Tue May 25, 2010 11:40 pm
Anyone stayed here? We are considering re-vamping our whole itinerary and doing the SV, CUZ, the 4 day Inca Trail Trek and 3 d/4n Jungle lodge tour and stay with EcoAmazonia. Were thinking of doing the overland gringo trail back to Lima, but are more excited about visiting the jungle even if it means cutting a few days short..

Any comments greatly appreciated!

Any feedback on Amazon for 2nights -boys won't be too interested in bird watching but hope they might enjoy overall experience. Is a trip down the coast to Ballestas Is area worthwhile to see the penguins and sea lions etc. We have about 15days total in Peru. As time ...

I don't want to bring my own sleeping bag for Inca Trail walk late January, but travel agent is advising against hiring locally as they say the hire ones may not be warm enough?.

Is this the case?

Thank you
