Upon checking out at Tirgu Mures (Romania) airport, I hv some instant / canned food or beverages in my baggage ? Will the airport staff confiscate them?

Does anyone know of a private driver for hire to take me from Sighisoara to the airport in Tirgu Mures? The bus leaves early in the morning and I'd like to have time to walk around the town.

May 29, 2011 ready for my next trip, My question is; which airlines are the best I to do research for a flight from Toronto to Bucharest through Milano as on the way back from Bucharest I will stop in Milano for two weeks (going to Como and some other places).

I'm arriving by train into Bucharest's Gara de Nord station and need to take a taxi to my hotel (Hotel Rembrandt).



All the reading I've done suggests you shouldn't take a taxi from this station as tourists are likely to be ripped off.



If this is the case, where should I get a taxi from?

My husband and 2 brothers and I have booked 5 nights in Poiana Brasov over Christmas. Can anyone tell me if the supermarket, restaurants etc will be open on Christmas Eve (when we arrive?) and/or Christmas Day?
