My wife and i want to go on a mediterranean (european) cruise next summer or fall. specifically we would like to see parts of italy and the south of france. who are the best cruise lines to go on for this, and what is the average cost? and are the areas we want to see likely to be visited by a cruise ship or are we better off just visiting the countries themselves? ...

heading to bled in less than 2 weeks... counting down the days now... cant wait! :D

First time to Slovenia in August 2010. Will be coming from Venice so thinking catch ferry to Piran, then train or bus to Ljubljana. Should we stay a night in Piran then 2 in Ljubljana, or Bled or somewhere else. We would like to see as much as possible and will be relying on trains and buses. Love walking so any walk trails recommended would be appreciated.

Hello, I will be leaving B&B Petra Varl very early on Sat 10 July (flight at 7.40). How can I book my transport (eg taxi) before I arrive in Ljubljana?

Does anyone know one? Double room or apartment, for two or three nights (July 22, 23, 24).

I am visiting Slovenia soon and would like to spend a day walking one of the routes in the Cicerone guide to the Julian Alps. I'm a reasonably fit 49 year old used to hill walking, but not rock climbing. I'd like to walk 10 - 15 miles / 16 - 24km. For the walk, I will be based at Lipica, so will have to drive to the start and back to Lipica again in ...

We are staying during the Festival and would enjoy hearing a bit more about it in advance if anyone can help.

We stay in Lake Bled in July and our tour operator (Inghams) offers the opportunity to pre-book tours. We are definitely going on the Caves and Lipica one as seeing the "white horses" has always been my dream. However we cannot make our minds up about whether the lakes or alps trip for another day out and would appreciate the help of other "Trip Advisors".

Is it possible to do a day trip to Bled from the capital?

We are coming to Tolmin for Metal Camp festival - we are from England and will have a car - we are looking to purchase bbq - camping chairs and a camping gazebo ( cheap ) as we will have to leave them behind. Any suggestions on a local town that sells these items or a supermarket to look out for.
