Does anyone know about public transportation between Paramaribo and Caracas (Venezuela)? I plan to take a bus or train, but is it costy, and is it a good idea at all?

Hey, my brother recently left to serve in the Peace Corp in Suriname. I am thinking of visiting him in December. I am wondering if anyone knows about any cheap places to stay while in paramaribo.
Also, I think he will be living with a tribe of Maroons in the jungle. I heard the Surinamian jungle is amazing, and I would love to be able to go stay with the Maroons. Does anyone know how ...
