We are about to book a 2 week holiday at Isla Caribe for December 2007. Can't decide whether to spend extra money on an upgrade in flight with First Choice & go for a double room with sea view, or to book a Junior Suite & stick with standard seats on flight. Hey everyone! Trip advisor has been great for both my vacations to Mexico(Yucatan) and most recently to Costa Rica. My next trip will be to Venezuala flying into Caracas and I need your help. We love a variety of things. Beaches, snorkeling, jungles, ruins, architechture, history, culture, etc.. We want to go in January from the 10th to the 18th. Does anyone have any ideas?

Has anyone used the ferry to get to/from the Island from Caracas? Do you know how long of a ride it is?

Heading to Margarita in November 07 - I have been on the who.com website, but still can't seem to get clear directions on whether or not we need vacinations or not. We will do the 1 day trip to Canaima National Park (angel falls etc.) - can anyone confirm what jabs/vacs we definately need or should get or could do without?

never been to margarita, always book last minute off teletxt for bargans, however do not often see margarita offered last minute bookings. got quoted 1281 pounds for 2 adulds for january, how does the price sound or would i get it much cheaper nearer the time. any help appreciated peter

Heard from a friend who loved the overnight trip in the jungle but has 126 mosquito bites - no electric for plug in.

Does anyone know of any tour operator that uses more civilised overnight accomodation?

I know it sounds wimpy - but my wife often has bad reaction to bites.
