My 12-year-old nephew and I will be traveling to Oregon, with plans including a 2-night/3-day rafting trip. Neither of us are experienced rafters (but you should see us on subway trains!). I'm considering as outfitters Rouge River Raft Trips (affiliated with Morrison's Lodge) and Sundance River. Can anyone recommend for or against either outfitter, or recommend an outfitter that worked well for them? Thanks.

Hi, NYCer. The river's name is Rogue (as in mischievous) rather than Rouge. Ouzel Outfitters (based in Bend) is a group you should check out. They do trips on the Rogue but also on other Oregon rivers that also might appeal to your subway train spirit!
