Can anyone advise me which are the best thermal baths to go to (winter time) that accommodate men and women bathing together. I have read so much about different baths but it seems that most of them are for men or women only. My husband and I want to go together.

My wife and I just got back.

We went to Szechenyi, and loved it.

Couples together were no problem.

We had no issues. We did take our valuables (camera, wallet) to the spa area in plastic bags in lieu of leaving them in the lockers.

Have a great time!

I also second Szchenyi Frd.

In winter its the best experience i think. Cant wait to go there again...

You can also store your valuables in self locking lockers. Im not sure if its the right word... anyway ... you type in a code and it will lock ... you dont need no physical key ... it also doesnt cost money.

you will find some down stairs near the dressing cabins or if they are all taken just go up the stairs in direction thai massage and fitness room. there are also these lockers.

have fun

I second Szecheyni Baths. There are outdoor and indoor pools that are mixed and are a variety of temperatures. I think the treatment rooms (massages, saunas) are separated by gender but I didn't use them so can't speak authoritatively.

I left my valuables locked up in the locker without incident. There is an attendant in the locker room who unlocks the lockers.

I fourth the Szechenyi recommendation

I've used it frequently with no incident involving missing/stolen items either in my locker or left by my towel while I bathed.
